I’ve been lucky enough to be coached by Luke for the last 5 years. He’s been amazing through the highs, the lows, long term injury, covid and my many fears. As a coach he’s always looking to grow his own knowledge as well as those he trains. He’s taken me from being scared to clip my feet into cleats to being long distance duathlon AG world champion last year. He also trained me for The Monster a triathlon race from Loch Ness to London in which I was the first person to finish. I’m continually grateful for his patience, support and unwavering faith. I look forward to what the next 5 years will bring!

I reached out to Luke when I decided to take the plunge and challenge myself to completing Ironman Austria. Sport events came late to me in life and I have always struggled to know what to do and how to improve and knew I needed help. Luke’s coaching and guidance helped me enormously.

After Ironman Austria, I decided to focus on endurance running and again Luke provided the platform for me to be race ready. This has enabled me to hit a 17:26 5k, a sub three hour marathon, complete several ultra distance podiums (including two first places) and an 8th placed finish on the Thames Path 100 mile centurion race.

My most recent challenge was a big one – running Lands End to John O’Groats. I had no idea where or how to start training for this but Luke put together a comprehensive plan and I managed to complete this in the quickest time across all competitors.

I say all of the above as I can wholeheartedly recommend working with Luke. The plans given are clear, structured and goal focussed and Luke is always available to explain or offer advice when needed. Working with Luke has made my training more enjoyable and enabled me to dream big and take on challenges that I had considered well beyond my ability.
